Below is a google map link for the site.
We will be doing this restoration work in conjunction with CRD Parks, as well as Kristiina Ovaska, the biologist doing the research on the Blue-grey Taildropper Slugs. HAT has produced a Blue-grey Taildropper Slug ID Guide, which you can find here. We will be meeting in the main parking lot of Thetis Lake Regional Park at 9:30am where we will have a short introduction to the project and then head up to the site. The two main invasive species that we will removing from the site are Scotch broom and Daphne laurel. There is quite a bit of daphne at the site, so for those of you that have a sensitivity to daphne, we will try to have you work in an area where there is more Scotch broom, or help with a different task.
