Saturday January 24: Oak Haven Park Restoration 1/2 day
9:30am to 2:00pm
HAT is hosting a restoration event with free coffee and a snack in Oak Haven Park, a HAT Protected Site and Central Saanich park. We will be pulling invasive plants from the forest - Daphne and broom need to be pulled out before the spring flowers begin to bloom. Coffee and snacks (bring a travel mug) starting at 9:30am with a brief walk and talk to the restoration site. Restortation runs for the regular time: 10-2 with tools and training provided by HAT staff. Bring sturdy boots, a lunch, gloves if you have them, and some energy!
Carpooling available, just contact HAT for a ride or directions. We will meet on Garden Gate Drive at the Park Entrance at 9:30am
