Stewardship Projects

E-mail Print PDF

Land stewardship includes the actions and philosophy of enhancing and protecting wildlife habitat on our land. Thoughtful stewardship means caring for the land using best practices to protect soil, clean water, and threatened ecosystems.

A big part of HAT's work is to promote wise land care through our landowner contact projects. We are also involved with other stewardship and education partnerships.

Some of HAT's current stewardship projects are:

3rd Tsartlip Scouts planting Colquitz Creek

3rd Tsartlip Boy Scout Troop plants a creek side native plant buffer along Colquitz Creek.
