Over 25 families have made written commitments to protect habitats and water quality on their lands and parks by the Cordova Shore of the Saanich Peninsula. Some of HAT's new Habitat Stewards attended a special recognition event at Island View Beach Regional Park on August 14th (left to right): John & Linda Dammeyer, Margaret & Rob House, Central Saanich Mayor Jack Mar, HAT's Todd Carnahan, Jessica Ball, Teresa Verenitch, Margaret Woodlock, and Donna & David Petroski.
