Come celebrate bat week with us! Join CRD Regional Parks naturalists and HAT on a fun and educational walk as we explore the amazing world of bats.
Learn why these amazing creatures of the night are vital to our ecosystems and how we can help protect them.
Location: Elk/Beaver Lake Regional Park. Meet at the Beaver Lake Picnic Shelter at the Filter Beds parking lot.

Take part in fun activities to better understand the world’s only true flying mammals. Hopefully, we will be able to see the bats in action as they emerge from the bat boxes at dusk to feed on insects!

Interested in Salvaging Native Plants?
As part of the Stewardship Program, HAT hosts training and safety orientation sessions for HAT volunteers, landowners, and restoration practitioners who are interested in learning how to safely and effectively salvage native plants in areas slated for development.
